I’ve been using Artlist for music and footage, and I really like how everything is organized. The filters are super helpful, especially when I’m trying to finish something quickly. My brother even noticed how much faster I can find tracks now. I still have to dig around a bit sometimes, but overall it’s simple to use and definitely saves me time.

To be fair, the catalog does have some nice tracks, and I found a few that I liked. But after searching for a while, a lot of it started to sound similar. It’s not bad by any means, just kind of okay overall.

I use artlist for my YouTube videos, the subscription feels worth it for the most part. There’s a lot of music to choose from, which is great, although some tracks do start to sound kind of similar after a while. I was going to say it’s not a big deal, but actually it can be a little noticeable if you’re browsing a lot. Still, it’s way cheaper than buying songs one by one, so I’m happy with it overall.

I’ve been using Artlist for sound effects on smaller video projects, and it’s been a big help, especially on days when I’m feeling mentally drained and don’t have the energy to hunt through a million random files. The quality is usually really good, and it’s easy to find clean whooshes, clicks, ambience, and that kind of stuff. Some packs are a little hit or miss, but overall it saves me a ton of time.

Canceling was easy for me. I’ve seen other people complain about it being a hassle, but my experience was smooth and it worked fine without any issues.

I had to reach out to support about an issue with my account. They did get back to me by email and eventually fixed everything, so I can’t really complain too much. I did have to wait longer than I expected, and I kept checking my inbox and receipts for updates. Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience, I just wish the response time had been a little quicker.

I had a couple of copyright claims show up on YouTube after using Artlist music, which was definitely a little frustrating at first. That said, their support team replied quickly and clearly explained what they needed from me. Once I sent over the license details, the claims were cleared within a couple of days. It would obviously be better if this didn’t happen in the first place, but overall the process was smooth and not too much of a headache. I’d still recommend Artlist if you need licensed music, just keep your license info handy. 4 stars from me

Some of the footage looks really great and caught my attention right away, but then there are other parts that feel a bit older or dated, so overall I enjoyed watching it but kept noticing the difference in quality from scene to scene.

I found the rights information easy to understand. You don’t have to dig around too much to figure out what’s allowed, which I appreciated.

The license is easy to download too, which is a nice bonus. I did check with support once just to be safe, and they basically said something like, “as long as you’re covered under the plan and using the license properly, you’re good,” which made me feel better. Overall, happy with it.

I was kind of expecting the yearly renewal to be annoying, but it seemed clear from what I could tell. I got the reminder email before the charge went through, and the amount looked like what I was expecting.
The billing page wasn’t hard to find, and my invoice showed up right away. I can’t say I checked every tiny detail, but I didn’t notice anything weird or sneaky, which I definitely appreciate with subscriptions.

I’ve used it a few times now, and the downloads have been quick every time. Not really sure about all the other features, but for what I needed, it just works.

The search works well, the filters make sense, and most of the time I can find a song or sound effect fast without getting lost in a bunch of random pages. Downloading stuff and saving favorites is simple too. I’m not really a techy person, so if something has too many menus I kind of assume it’s harder than it needs to be, even if that’s not always true. artlist doesn’t feel like that. It just does what I need, and somehow that makes it feel worth it because it saves me time.

Their music selection is seriously huge. I can always find something that fits what I’m working on, but fair warning, you might end up spending way more time than planned just browsing through all the options.

I ended up signing up by mistake and asked for a refund quickly. Support did get back to me, but it took longer than I thought it would, and I had to send one follow-up email. Weirdly, I remember I was eating a bowl of cereal at like 4 in the afternoon when I sent it. Anyway, they did refund me in the end, which I appreciated. I just wish the whole process had been a little clearer and faster. Not a terrible experience, just a bit frustrating.
